What do you do if you put the wrong fuel in your car? 

1. Don’t start your car. If you turn the ignition on, that’s when you risk doing serious damage to the vehicle. Take your keys out of the ignition straight away.
2. Get your car somewhere safe. Put it into neutral and hopefully, there’ll be someone at the petrol station who can help you to push your car into a safe location.
